New IMMOTION People Counter Software


The latest IMMOTION software application for the EvolvePlus range of IoT People Counters is now available for on-premise and cloud delivery platforms.

The IMMOTION software application continues to bundle the EasyReports, CentralManagement and SensorServer applications from the previous SensorServer software, and now includes:

  • New Graphical Dashboard for Traffic Counting data analysis and comparison
  • New Moodbox dashboard providing insight on the Smiley Feedback Counter results
  • New API using NODE.js

With customisable buttons, face plate and the choice to either mount the device on a free standing pole, wall or counter, the 'Moodbox' is adaptable to any environment.  In conjunction to collecting feedback, the ‘Moodbox’ also integrates with our wireless people counter solutions so that footfall traffic statistics and customer feedback can be compared and analysed using our centralised web dashboard.

The best thing about the ‘Moodbox’ is its ‘Anti-Spam’ functionality. The device can be programmed with a button delay which can stop customers from ‘button smashing’ false information and compromising the overall results.

Print Management for Libraries


EvolvePlus has released a new solution for Public Libraries in Australia - the HoneyLibrary integrated Print/Copy/Scan Management, PC Reservations and PC Control solution.

Aurora Software Release November 2018

Aurora Library Management System

A new version of the Aurora Library Management System Cloud Desktop has been released to all library customers on 31 October 2018. Highlights of the release include:

Circulation

  • Automatic renewals – this new process now running live in some initial sites and it can reduce the number of calls that librarians take from customers wanting to renew items. Contact support for more information if you wish to implement this feature
  • Borrowers can now be prevented from reserving an item for x amount of hours after it has been returned by them.
  • The homebound picklist can now be limited to a specific item format for easy picking.
  • When permanently transferring items, a new optional setting will clear the floating flag so that the items will return to their new permanent home.
  • New dockets are available with enhanced features including bold and larger fonts.

Email Notification for People Counter Software


Automatic email notifications are now available for our range of Wireless, Overhead Thermal and Single Side Laser People Counters.

The Mailer application for SensorServer enables you to configure your server to send automatic email notifications to display warning messages and issues with your Wireless People Counter solution.

It is a great way of ensuring that your People Counter solution is operating correctly without having to manually login to the CentralManagement web application each day.

We are excited to share our Product Roadmap for the next 12 months which includes new People Counter and IoT Smart Building solutions. Some of these solutions will be released shortly whilst others are in the development and pre-production phase.

We are investing in the latest data communication technologies for our products to support the delivery of innovative smart city projects. One of the new technologies that we will be implementing to connect some of our new people counter and smart building devices is Narrowband IoT (Internet of Things).  NB-IoT was developed to enable efficient communication and long battery life for implementing devices across wide geographical footprints and deep within urban infrastructure. Integrating with People Counter Data


Our modular People Counter solution makes it easy to integrate the footfall data with other information systems that your organisation may be using - ranging from Sales & Finance systems through to BACnet Building Automation and Control Systems.

Two popular methods for integrating the EvolvePlus People Counter solution with other systems include:

  1. Using our DashboardPlus web application to connect to your information systems (EvolvePlus People Counters, Sales & Finance databases, Building Automation and Control Systems, etc.) and to provide meaningful insight of data from a central dashboard portal
  2. Connecting to the EvolvePlus People Counter database and incorporating the data into your BI Reporting Tool or Building Automation Systems.

Whether you are using our Wireless People Counters, USB People Counters, Single Side Laser People Counters or Overhead Thermal People Counters, they all capture the counter data and save to an open source MySQL database, which makes it easy to connect to and automatically extract or link to the data for your own reporting analytics platform. BookingsPlus Online Payment Gateway


Using the BookingsPlus Online Payment Gateway you can offer your customers the convenience of paying their deposit or the full fee using Visa, MasterCard or American Express for Events, Room Bookings, Resource Bookings and Facility Bookings.

The Online Payment Gateway is available with BookingsPlus version 15 that is being released to customers over the coming months, and it provides a secure and easy way to accept payments. We’ve partnered with Stripe, one of the leading vendors for processing online payments, to enable online payments for Events, Room, Resource and Facility Bookings.

Another key highlight in BookingsPlus version 15 is the new booking price calculation setting, enabling you to configure the deposit, hourly rate and fixed rate. With this new setting, the price for bookings created by customers using the Self-Service Web Portal will be automated calculated and provide a link for online payment.

My Reading List for Schools is a new approach to independent reading to inspire and engage students as readers. It provides a place for students to log their reading and write short reviews. It engages students through the hooks of technology, competition and the social aspect of reading other student reviews. 

My Reading List can help to enable dialogue between teachers and students about reading and the online nature of the application makes logging the books a fun activity. The application features have been developed with the input of Teachers, Librarians and Teacher-Librarians.

We're On The Move


We are excited to announce that EvolvePlus has moved to a new location in Mulgrave, Victoria.  

After spending the previous two years in Scoresby we are on the move to the Monash Enterprise Centre.

This provides us (and our customers) with improved facilities including a training room with seating for up to 30 people as well as modern meeting rooms with large built in TV displays.

CONTAINER – THE BOX THAT CHANGED THE WORLD EXHIBITION



People counting solution for the outdoor exhibition at Australian National Maritime Museum.

Background
The first-ever outdoor exhibition held at the Australian National Maritime Museum where visitors can explore six colourful containers scattered around the museum like giant Lego pieces. Each container uses solar power to run internal lighting and displays.

The Challenge
To gauge the popularity of the exhibition, a unique and cost-effective people counting solution was required. The people counting solution had to operate on batteries and/or required a minimum power drain from the solar power supply of each container. The people counting solution had to be inconspicuous and automatically report visitors in real time.
