Our Overhead ToF People Counters operate similarly to thermal people counters but rely on a fundamentally different principle than camera-based systems. Rather than capturing visual images, they use near-infrared light reflection to create low-resolution "heat maps" that detect the presence and movement of individuals without recording any identifiable features or personal characteristics.
