Battery Powered Outdoor People Counters with Analytics

EvolvePlus offers two different models of battery-powered Outdoor People Counters that provide detailed hourly/daily analytics:

• USB People Counter with onboard memory
• Wireless People Counter - with automated data transfer via 4G or local network

Both models are ideal for environments such as footpaths, walking tracks, public toilets and park entrances, and feature a robust outdoor enclosure designed to withstand the harsh elements.

Which Model is Right for You?

If you need a simple and affordable people counting solution for remote locations with no power or 4G connectivity, the USB People Counter is a great option. It is easy to install and use, and the data can be easily collected and analysed using the included software.

If you need a fully automated solution, and you have nearby access to power and 4G connectivity, the Wireless People Counter is a good choice. It is easy to install and configure, and the data is automatically transferred to the EvolvePlus Cloud Dashboard for quick access to the footfall analytics.

USB Outdoor People Counter

The USB People Counter is a battery-powered device that consists of two parts: a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter and receiver are positioned across the path or entrance (maximum of 3 metres or 5 metres with optional clear cover) and generate an infrared beam that is broken by people passing through. The People Counter keeps separate counts of people entering and exiting.

The people count data is retained for up to 40 days and can be collected by connecting the USB memory stick to the counter. When the USB memory stick is plugged into a computer, the included IMMOTION software provides accurate daily/weekly/monthly/yearly analysis in report and chart formats.

Wireless Outdoor People Counter

The battery-powered Wireless People Counter sensor is similar to the USB People Counter, except it is a fully automated solution that features data transfer to the EvolvePlus Cloud Dashboard via the AC-powered gateway (which can be around 10 to 100 metres from the People Counter depending on the gateway, or further with the optional external antenna). 

The Wireless People Counters are available in LoRaWAN and Radio Frequency (RF) variants -  each with benefits depending on the environment.

The cloud-delivered EvolvePlus Dashboard & Analytics allows users to analyse footfall data by hour, day, week, month, and year in table or graph form.
