Three Easy Steps To Install: Wireless RF People Counter

EvolvePlus offers an easy-to-install, automated wireless people counter solution. It combines wireless RF people counter sensors with the choice of our Australian-developed cloud portal or the IMMOTION on-premise software for data-driven analysis via dashboards and reports.

We ship the people counters and SNG Hub (sensor network gateway) preconfigured with your counting location settings ready for your team to self-install.

Installing the wireless RF people counter and SNG Hub is simple! All it takes is 3 easy steps:

Step 1: Install SNG Hub: Unpack the SNG Hub and connect to power and an internet-enabled ethernet port within 20 metres of the proposed counting location. If your network has a firewall, you will need to ensure to allow port 5xxxx for data transfer to/from the EvolvePlus cloud or on-premise software.

Step 2: Insert Batteries in People Counter Sensors: Unpack the people counter sensors, which consist of a transmitter and receiver, and insert 2 x AA batteries into each. Then, activate and validate the sensors.

Step 3: Mount People Counter Sensors: Mount the sensors on an adjoining surface by affixing the included mounting plate using screws or 3M command strips. You can also mount it on a door frame using optional mounting brackets from EvolvePlus. Ensure that the sensors are aligned with each other.

If you are using the on-premise software instead of the EvolvePlus cloud dashboard, you will also need to install it on a Windows PC/server.

Once the people counter and SNG Hub are installed and operational, you can access the web-based dashboard for footfall reports and charts across hourly, daily, weekly and monthly periods.
